The European Union considered the expulsion of diplomats from Moscow unreasonable

In response to Moscow's statement about the expulsion of 18 diplomats of the mission, the European Union expressed its regret and called this step ” unreasonable.”

“The EU regrets the unreasonable and unreasonable decision to expel 18 members of the EU Delegation to Russia,” the EU Foreign Service said in a statement.

Russia declared them persona non grata and demanded to leave the country as soon as possible. The measure was taken in response to the EU decision to deprive 19 employees of the Russian Permanent Mission in Brussels of accreditation.

Head of the EU Delegation Markus Ederer was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. He was strongly protested in connection with the unjustified expulsion of Russian diplomats.
