Cardi B is carrying on with her All-Star Weekend club appearances after being threatened by alleged gang members over an Instagram post this week. The Bronx rapper reportedly received threatening messages after she seemingly disrespected the Crips in a post where she wore a blue coat. “I hate wearing Flue but this shirt was too poppin,” read the now-deleted caption, replacing the B in Blue with an F. Following the messages, the nightclubs hosting Cardi’s 3 events over the weekend have tripled their security, but a new report from TMZ says the rapper is not taking the threats too seriously and the appearances will continue as planned.
Citing “sources close to Cardi,” the report states that the “Bodak Yellow” emcee has “no fear of gang retaliation.” According to the source, she has reminded her team, including record company execs, “she’s from the streets, so nobody’s stopping her bankroll.”
Cardi will appear at Murano, Penthouse and Ace of Diamonds, which are all under the same ownership. It was reported that club management at the venues held an emergency meeting Wednesday to discuss how to handle the threats. Off-duty cops are said to have been added to security and will be present in uniform inside the events, in addition to triple the number of armed guards.
Quavo shares the producer credits for Migos upcoming album Culture 2.
The album is coming this weekend and so far we know there is a bunch of big names producers who added their touches to the project. Not surprisingly, Quavo names himself on the production credits given that some recent news surfaced that he has been working on beats with Kanye West. He also named himself, Huncho, and DJ Durel as the executive producer of the album.
Other producers who received credits on the project include Honorable CNote, Ricky Racks, Buddah Blessed, OG Parker x Deko, DJ Durel, Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, Kanye West, Zaytoven, Murda Beats, Pharrell, FKI and more, The tracklist will arrive by tomorrow according to sources close to the Atlanta rap group.
Murda Beats and Cubeatz are the producers who worked on “MotorSports” a song Migos dropped last month with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. That track will be on the album. Pharrell Williams produced “Stir Fry” and C Note did some work on “Superstars.” Based on the available information, the album, Culture 2, will come with 15 to 17 tracks. There were some recent reports that Migos would be working with Kanye West for the album, but seems the G.O.O.D. Music rapper and producer will only make a small contribution to the project.
Culture 2 arrives on January 26th and is one of the most anticipated rap albums this year. Migos claimed in a recent interview with Ebro on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio that C2 will be the biggest album this year. Let’s see how the project will live up to that bold statement from the group. The first installment in the Culture album series was released in January of last year, exactly a year ago. See the announcement Quavo posted on IG on Monday below.

Alkaline has addressed his critics who accused him of buying views on YouTube.
Last year, the Vendetta deejay came under scrutiny from dancehall fans, particularly Vybz Kartel fans, who claimed that he has been paying to over-inflate his Vevo views. The allegations comes after Alkaline racked up a number of views for some newly released music. In one case, he clocked a million views in less than a week for his single “Suave” which went on to add millions more views in the weeks after.
In his new single “Mirage” Alkaline address his critics. “In a league of my own, no am not your opponent, nothing me hate in a life like a snake or a f***** rodent, them can’t stop my show that a one thing me know… Them a say me numbers them too good, them a say me a buy views pon Vevo, okay then still a give them mayhem.”
Alkaline also address his enemies whom he say are actively sending the police after him and although he gets frustrated, he still manages to keep his cool and maintain his focus thanks to the council of his mother. “Mirage” is Alkaline’s first single since the start of the year and his Vendetta fans are basking in the moment because they have been waiting to hear what he has to say.
The track already sparked a heated debate on social media about who Alkaline is referring to when deejaying about taking out someone and their entire crew. It could be a number of people including Vybz Kartel, Popcaan, NotNice, Sean Kingston, Tommy Lee Sparta, and more, all of whom he has been beefing with. Kartel might be the only name you can exclude over the mere fact that he is behind bars. But his incarceration is not stopping him from going after Alkaline musically.

Ninjaman says that his life sentence is not the end of the road.
The Don Gorgon was sentenced to life in prison yesterday for a murder conviction with the possibility for parole after serving 25 years. The dancehall legend who is now 51, will be 76 by the time he is eligible for parole. The deejay says that he will appeal the conviction and the sentencing despite being convicted unanimously by a jury. Ninjaman also felt that he was convicted for his past life and not for his present, while alluding that his past life is coming back to haunt him.
Dancehall Queen Carlene Smith was one of the character witnesses who gave testimony on behalf of the music icon. “He (Ninjaman) just passed me out here and said: ‘It’s not the end,’” she said. “He’s that kind of character, where everything is a happy-go-lucky moment, but I know deep down there is regret. As we know, he has been a reformed human being and continues to do real great work, so this is an extremely sad day for me as he is my friend. But the lawyer still gives us hope; we can appeal it, but let’s just hope God has another bigger work for him in store, and this is one of the messages to the public and the world at large.”
Singer Stacious, real name Stacy Scarlett also gave character testimony on behalf of the deejay while begging the judge to be lenient in his sentencing, but that was not enough to sway the judge in handing down the life sentence. Ninjaman was smiling when he was being escorted from court to prison yesterday while showing his supporters that he is in good spirit despite the harsh sentence.
His attorney, Valerie Neita-Robertson, says she visited her client after the verdict and he is in good spirit. “I was really, really very emboldend by my client’s response when I went to see him after the verdict,” Neita-Robertson said. “He said to me Miss Neita, God know why him sending me down a Tower Street. Mi a continue mi work wid di man dem down deh weh a fire gun. Mi nah give up’, and I was very comforted by that.”

Nick Young reacts to Iggy Azalea scorch earth remarks about him on Twitter.
The NBA star and the “Fancy” rapper broke up last year after he went and knock up his ex-girlfriend and baby mama. Their split came just a few months after his teammate D’Angello Russell outed him with a video posted on social media. The breakup was bitter and the two haven’t been on speaking terms since then. Last weekend, Nick Young and Iggy Azalea were spotted dining at the same restaurant in Los Angeles. Rumors started circulated on social media that the pair are getting back together but that is not the case.
Iggy fired off a series of tweets towards a reported from the Daily Mail and Nick Young was the center of his fire. “Ryan Smith @ TheDailyMail i hope all your christmas gifts contain boxes of dried up chips of dog s–t for trying to imply i would EVER, EVER have a dinner date with my ex who created a full human behind my back,” she tweeted before saying one last thing, “I hope all your candy canes break before you get to take them out of the wrapper for the rest of your life.”
Iggy Azalea arrived at the restaurant around 3 hours before her famous ex-boyfriend and his friends got there. She left a short while after he arrived. “The unfortunate thing about LA is there are not that many places people eat. You can be in the middle of one of the most important dinner meetings of your life; and randomly your ex and all his friends walk in the same place,” she later added in another tweet.
Nick Young has since responded while clearly holding back a lot of things he had on his chest. “I was going to go in but imma chill,” he tweeted. “Let it go.”

XXXTentacion has been charged with 8 new felonies for tampering with a witness.
The “Look At Me” rapper is learning the hard way that you should never interact with a witness against you in a criminal case. X is currently behind bars, but we are learning that prosecutors filed seven felony charges against him on Friday when a judge revoked his bail and ordered him remanded in custody in Miami-Dade County. TMZ reported that the prosecutor filed 8 new felony charges bringing the number of charges related to witness tampering to 15.
XXXTentacion is already facing more serious felony charges for assaulting and kidnapping his pregnant ex-girlfriend. According to law enforcement sources, the South Florida rapper made several phone calls from jail and they were all recorded and all lead to the 8 new charges filed against him. This also means that he no longer has phone privileges and is being held without bail after the judge ruled that he broke the terms of his bond by contacting the witness.
If found guilty of the charges, XXXTentacion faces decades in prison for the alleged crimes. Over the past year, he has been trying to rehabilitate his image by donating to charities related to domestic violence and regularly talk to his fans about domestic abuse on social media. All that effort was not enough to sway the judge who sent him straight to jail last Friday.
Rozay and Baby beef goes back to last year and it seems the MMG rapper is still angry about the Cash Money honcho handling of the Lil Wayne situation. So when Ross got wind of the news about Birdman possibly loosing his mansion in Miami, he pounce on the opportunity to fired off more shots at his enemy.
“Mack Maine let Wayne know you can forget about it $ Bryan can’t pay his rent, someone dm this link,” Rozay wrote on a SnapChat video he posted which includes the screenshot of the story. “You mean you move to Miami take out a loan on the mansion, then took out another loan on the mansion, and you still ain’t paid you lil ni**as,” Rozay said while hinting that Birdman wants to mess up his new girlfriend, Tony Braxton, life. “You ain’t have no money in six-seven years, ni**a. You should have came and borrowed some from Rozay. Now you want to f**k that old lady life up too. You probably borrowing some money from her.”
Rick Ross then jokingly said that he probably should buy Birdman’s mansion on the water front in Miami and use it to park his boat. This latest response from Rozay comes just two months after he went off on the former Hot Boys rapper for not paying Lil Wayne. “It just ran across my mind like damn I wonder if Birdman paid that man [Lil Wayne] yet, pay that man,” he said in a video posted on social media in October. “Pay that man that man sold a million the first week, god damn what that man got to do to get his money, what that man got to do for you to pay him.”

In case you have been living in a cake for the past few days, Alkaline stepped to Tony Matterhorn on stage last Friday night during his birthday party at Club Euro in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The veteran sound system selector was the main disc jockey at the birthday bash which saw thousands of Vendetta fans turned out for the event. Matterhorn was playing mostly Alkaline and his allies music all night, but then music start coming from Tommy Lee Sparta, Popcaan, and then a Vybz Kartel song was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
The “Champion Boy” deejay was furious and made his way onto the stage with his goons to confront TM and told him to his face that he is a pu**y for pulling off the stunt. Vybz Kartel seems to be having a field day with the development and has since sound off on Instagram about it. “WHAT’S A PARTY WITHOUT VYBZKARTEL MUSIC?? DWBCL,” Kartel wrote in his IG bio before adding, “How does it feel being labelled a photo copy artiste? Guess i’ll never know, dwfl.”
Last year, Alkaline received some backlash from some dancehall fans for allegedly copying Vybz Kartel image and style. The Vendetta deejay never responded to those accusations, but Kartel and his fans are not letting up on the claims. “So boring at the top yawn,” Kartel added on IG.

Ninjaman, his son Janiel Ballentine, and Dennis Clayton were sentenced to life in prison with hard labor.
A Jamaican high court judge handed down the harsh prison sentence on Monday in the Home Circuit court in Kingston. Ninjaman and his two co-accused were found guilty of the murder of Ricardo Johnson, aka Ricky Trooper, who cops say was gunned down on March 16, 2009, on Marl Road, Kingston 13. The dancehall legend claimed he is innocent, but a seven-member jury unanimously found him and the two others guilty of the murder when the trial concluded on November 20, 2017.
Ninjaman, whose real name is Desmond Ballentine, will have to serve 25 years in prison before being eligible for parole. The dancehall icon sat stoned-faced in court as the judge handed down the harsh sentencing. His son Janiel and friend Dennis Clayton were also given life imprisonment and will be eligible for parole in 15 years. Ninjaman’s sentencing was originally set for last Friday but was delayed until Monday after a character witness and one of the defendant’s attorneys were unable to be in court. Both the witness and the lawyer representing Clayton were in court on Monday for the sentencing.
Ninjaman will be age 76 before he is eligible for a parole hearing which is not always guaranteed. The dancehall legend has maintained his innocence and has indicated following the trial that he will likely appeal the conviction. In case your wondering why he received a harsher sentencing than his two co-accused, the prosecution main witness, who is now in witness protection, identified Ninjaman as the man who pulled the trigger to kill his friend Ricardo Johnson on Marl Road on that fateful day in March 2009. The witness told the court that Ninja also fired two shots at him but he managed to escape the gunfire and ran for his life. The men got into a domestic dispute over a kitchen space at a house on Marl Road where the main witness was the landlord.
Ninjaman is one of the most iconic names in dancehall’s history with over close to four decades as an active artist under his belt. He was born in Annotto Bay, Jamaica, on January 20, 1966, but moved to Kingston as a youngster. He started out as a DJ on famous sound systems like Black Culture and Killamanjaro from age 14 under the name Double Ugly. He later changed his name to Ninjaman and started recording music in the early 1980s.
By the Mid-80s, Ninjaman found a few hits and started producing songs for himself and started working with other artists like Super Cat and Early B. He also worked with producers like Ini Kamoze, Philip “Fatis” Burrell, Steely & Clevie, Bobby Digital, and King Jammy. Between the 1980s and 90s, Ninja has already built a name for himself in dancehall as a lyrical prowess with a gift of spitting lyrics on the spot with or without a beat. But in the mid-1990s he came under fire for his hardcore gun lyrics and was blamed for fueling crime in Jamaica with his music. That branding leads him to give up dancehall for a short while to become a gospel artist using the name Brother Desmond.

Matterhorn was the designated disc jockey at Alkaline’s birthday bash at Club Euro in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday night. The venue was jam packed to maximum capacity with Vendetta fans pouring in to see the young dancehall deejay. Sources told us that the veteran sound system selector was playing music from several different dancehall acts including some who has beef with “Suave” deejay like Tommy Lee Sparta and Popcaan.
Our source say things took a turn for the worst when Matterhorn played a Vybz Kartel song and that’s when Alkaline and a few of his goons made their way on stage and took the microphone. “Matterhorn know wa yo a bombocl*** do inno a Vendetta place yo deh don’t gwaan like yo waan come style the thing because we can style the thing to,” Alka told the DJ in front of his face. “But hear what for the love of my fans we naan go do that, but yo a pu**y for that wa yo just do. Me and yo a friends but no try do them style deh, but hear wa a gwaan differently… For my fans mi just waan say big up everybody wa forward for the show.”
The video clip below gives you a preview of the showdown and you can see one of Alkaline goons standing next to Tony Matterhorn looking like he was ready to brawl with the veteran selector. Thankfully cooler heads prevailed and things didn’t ended badly. Perhaps if this show was in Jamaica then it would likely ended differently. The show was a huge success for Alkaline and his team and now sources inside his circle are telling us that it will likely be an annual event going forward.

Ninjaman sentencing in the Supreme Court in on Friday was pushed back to Monday.
The sentencing hearing was off to a rocky start due to a shortage of handcuff used by the police detail who escort prisoners to court. The deejay’s attorney told the court that officers had a delay in bringing the convicted deejay to court because of same handcuff shortage. Nevertheless, Ninjaman, his son Janiel, and Dennis Clayton made it to court only to learn that their sentencing is being pushed back to Monday.
The judge pushed back the hearing to Monday because the attorney representing Clayton was not in court and a character witness had to leave the court before the hearing gets underway. XXXTentacion is not in a happy place right now and his mugshot says it all.
The “Look At Me” rapper was arrested this morning and is facing seven new felony charges including witness harassment and witness tampering. If he is found guilty on the charges he could be sent to prison for decades. XXXTentacion wore a white button down shirt to court today and tied his signature locks into a bun. But that wasn’t enough to sway the judges who might have already made up his mind about the rapper’s image.
X maintained the same attire for his mugshot after arriving at the Miami-Dade County Jail. The judge ordered him taken behind bars until his trial because he broke the terms of his bail from his original arrest. Prosecutors argued that XXXTentacion coerced his victim, who is his ex-girlfriend, in an effort to try to get her to drop the assault case against him.
You can recall, he is already facing kidnapping and assault charges for his alleged assault of his pregnant ex-girlfriend and all these charges carries serious penalties if found guilty.
Tyga is out at least fifty grand as a result of the recent robbery at his Last Kings store.
Last week, thieves forced their way into Tyga’s Last Kings clothing store in Los Angeles and made off with a ton of merch. This is the same store that the Compton rapper was sued by his landlord for $75,000. Police sources confirmed that the thieves took $50,000 worth of cloth and another $3,150 worth of gears including an iPad and a flat screen TV.
Tyga has not issued a statement on the burglary, but sources are saying the crime might have been orchestrated by someone close to his circle. Investigators say the thieves pry their way into the boutique through a back door. They took the security system which makes the crime harder for cops to solve. Police are still actively investigating the crime and are not ruling out an inside job.
Tyga has had a rocky year with several legal troubles and a bitter split from Kylie Jenner.

Police moves one step closer to solving Chinx murder.
Two suspects, Quincy Homere and Jamar Hill, were already serving time behind bars for unrelated charges and now they are in a world of legal troubles for the murder of the late Coke Boys rapper, Chinx Drugz. The two men are expected to be charged for the May 2015 murder in Queens, New York, TMZ reported. At the time of his death, detectives believed that his killer was someone who is jealous of his success in hip hop.
Chinx, whose real name is Lionel Pickens, 26, was shot and killed on May 17th, 2015 in what appears to be a drive-by shooting in Queens, NY. Two years later, cops arrested Quincy Homere, 32, and Jamar Hill, 26, who were both charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and assault. Nelly can now breathe a sigh of relief after his rape case was officially closed.
The rap veteran was arrested in October and charged with second degree rape after a female fan filed a police report claiming that he raped her on his tour bus in Ridgefield, Washington. There were early signs that the case wasn’t going too far and now our suspicions are confirmed as the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office told TMZ that the alleged victim refused to cooperate so they had no choice but to stop pursuing the case.
Nelly has maintained his innocence from the get-go and even said he would pursue legal actions against his accuser. She then stopped cooperating with authorities following that threat of legal action from the rapper saying that she don’t have the resources to go up against a celebrity as big as the “Just A Dream” rapper. Her attorney said that the pressure that came from accusing a celebrity like Nelly of such heinous crime was too much for her.
Nelly recently got trolled on social media for an upcoming performance in Saudi Arabia at a male only concert. He also received some backlash from some citicizens of the ultraconservative state for some of his lyrics about drugs and women.
In June last year, the “U.O.E.N.O.” rapper filed the lawsuit against the “Mask Off” emcee who responded on Twitter when he first heard about it and thought it was a joke. Rocko claimed in his lawsuit that he discovered Future and signed him to his label A1 Recording but after making him famous, the rapper then went and signed a deal with Epic Records without fulfilling the terms of his contract.
Earlier this year, reports surfaced claiming that the two have settled the lawsuit through lawyers representing both labels. Rocko came out a short time later denying that the case has been settled. TMZ is now reporting that the two rappers reached a seven figures deal. Court documents were filed from both sides asking for the case to be dismissed.
In October, Future released a joint album with Young Thug, Super Slimey. The project is his third album this year so he made more than enough money to settle the lawsuit. The project comes with 13 tracks including a guest feature from Offset on “Only One.” The Freebandz rapper is rumored to be working on his next album due early next year.

Eminem has not reacted to the album leak but his fans are and its a mix bag of everything which means this is certainly not his best work. Prior to the release of the comeback project, Em did an interview where he spoke about his struggles to constantly want to top his previous work. Depending on your assessment of this new body of work, you are still in good company.
Some fans were brutal with their comments while others expressed their disappointment but still said they will remain a fan. “Eminem in 2017 is the equivalent of Kobe Bryant in his final season. Shaggy is gearing up to return to the scene with another classic dancehall album.
The dancehall legend is currently working on his next solo album as well as another joint project with Sting. During his sit down with Winford Williams last weekend, he opened up about his upcoming album, the state of the music, Chronixx and Damian Marley Grammy nomination, and his charity work with the Bustamante Hospital for Children. Speaking about the current wave of reggae/dancehall in the mainstream music, Shaggy said that he would like to see a little more chart action.
“I personally would like to see a little more chart action, mainstream chart action,” he said. “I think there is a movement, a strong reggae movement. I see more touring especially the roots artists them doing a lot of touring and connecting with an audience on a global scale. You don’t see much chart action, I think Sean [Paul] is probably one only few chart action you see now.”
Shaggy confirmed that he has an album coming out in February of next year, but didn’t give us the title. “I have an album coming out on Sony and I have been working on this album for the longest and keep changing it,” he said. The dancehall icon opened up about the Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album with Chronixx and Junior Gong being the hot favorite.
“In fairness, I’ve only listened to two albums out of that batch, I’ve listened to the Chronixx album [Chronology] and I’ve listened to the Junior Gong album [Stony Hill],” he added. “With both albums, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Chronixx at this point is clearly the crowd favorite locally. You see him at these concerts, he has a movement going on in Jamaica right now. Gong now has an album that is out and it will be interesting because he has more of an international appeal, more of a global brand and he is been around for a while, and he has being around a famous name in reggae music.”

The Hotskull deejay signed Ching to his Unruly label in 2015 after the two developed a close friendship. This year their friendship turned sour and we started seeing the “Roast or Fry (Breadfruit)” deejay on tour around the world with Sean Paul. Some dancehall fans think that SP is behind the falling out, but now the dancehall legend is setting the record straight.
Sean Paul said he went through the proper channel to get Chi Ching Ching on his tour and there is no bad blood between himself and the Unruly camp. “His manager is Squidel which is Popcaan brother,” SP said. “So basically I had to talk to them… when me and Ching just a reason about it and I said who book for you because we want to bring you on these shows and we went through the process and find out and then we have meetings with everybody. It wasn’t a big public thing, we just said yow let us do this.”
Sean Paul added that Chi Ching Ching brought a lot of energy to his tour and he likes that. He also made it clear that he has nothing against Popcaan. “I personally have met Popcaan one or two times and I have nothing against the youth,” he added. “I don’t suppose he has anything against me, this is just a thing where his career is in that direction.”
SP added that at this point in his career he is only looking to help younger artists like Ching elevate their careers on the global stage. Sean Paul has over two decades in dancehall under his belt and has been widely regarded internationally as the king of the genre.

There is a lot of buzz surrounding the project set for release on Christmas Day. Yesterday we saw Drake hyping up the mixtape while posting photos of himself and his Young Money label boss on stage. Although the pair has collaborated in the past on a number of singles, it’s been a while since we’ve heard the two of them on the same track. Seems that drought is now over. “There is a good chance that Drizzy will be on D6 and it will be a banger,” sources said.
Last week, the two frequent collaborators performed together for the first time in a while at Art Basel where they once again reminded us that they are two of the greatest of this generation. Drake and Lil Wayne have previously collaborated on singles like “The Motto,” “Miss Me,” “Forever,” “She Will,” “HYFR,” and several more. The Toronto rapper didn’t include his mentor on any of his last three projects, Views, Nothing Was The Same, and his More Life playlist released this year.
Drake shared a photo of himself and Lil Wayne on his Instagram with the simple caption, “D6.” Weezy announced the mixtape earlier this month telling his fans that he will be dropping it on Christmas Day. “It’s time! Sign up for updates and music before drop date! To My fans, I do this for y’all! #D6 MERRY CHRISTMAS,” he said on Twitter.
Wayne didn’t give us any updates on his long-awaited Tha Carter V album despite promising his fans earlier this year that the project would be released sometime this year. Birdman also announced in January that the Carter V will be released soon but it hasn’t been forthcoming. Weezy is suing Cash Money and Birdman for $51 million over advances and royalties from his music. We will continue to update you on Lil Wayne upcoming mixtape Dedication 6 so check back regularly.

WHY is it real? Absolutely None of us have to try to think of the selflessness the genuine compassion and absolute loyalty for your friends you demonstrated daily.. no sir, because those things are synonymous with your face. Those things are synonymous with your name. Those things… synonymous wit the very thought of you comrade . My heart hurts so much . I’m wondering if I’ll ever need it again .. The world ,the label ..,shit EVERYBODY knows I’m a mess . I’m flawed I’m flawed I’m flawed and maybe I️ don’t even belong . Maybe I️ never did. Despite getting mixed reviews among hip hop fans, the album is project to move 60,000 plus album equivalent units in the first week and could debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Roughly around 10,000 to 13,000 of those sales will be from traditional album sales. While these numbers are nothing to brag about, we should also bare in mind that we are living in a singles driven era where album sales are on the decline and music consumers are mostly streaming the songs that they like.
Another hip hop album released this week that’s worth noting is Quality Control’s compilation project Control The Streets, Vol. 1. The album is expected to move close to the same numbers that Big Sean and Metro Boomin is expected to move. The album is expected to move 55,000 to 60,000 copies with 5,000 plus of those being traditional album sales.
Earlier this year, Big Sean scores a Billboard 200 number one album when he released I Decided. The project sold 151,000 copies in the first week and has since been certified platinum. The official sale figures for these new projects will be made available next weekend, but so far these are mere projections and the final count could be higher or a lot less.
Both Sean Don and Metro Boomin surprised fans a weeks ago when they abruptly announced that they will be dropping a joint album. Earlier this week, they made another announcement that it will arrive on Friday and they made good on their promise. The 10-track LP saw guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, and Kash Doll. The Detroit rapper got roasted on Twitter yesterday for a few lines on one of the single where he raps about smoking a blunt with civil rights icon Rosa Parks.

Lil Peep cause of death reveals that he was overdosed on Xanax and fentanyl.
The rising SoundCloud rapper died on November 15th in Tucson Arizona while in the city for a concert. According to the police report, he was discovered on his tour bus unresponsive. Initial reports alleged that he took some fake Xanax before passing out and that might have contributed to his death. TMZ revealed some excerpts from the Pima County Medical Examiner showing that he died from a “combined toxic effects of fentanyl and alprazolam.” The latter is the generic form of Xanax which is used to treat anxiety.
While those were the two main drug found in his system, the medical examiner detected a bunch of other drugs including cocaine, marijuana, and Tramadol, which is a pain killer, were all detected in his blood test. Additionally, his urine was tested positive for Oxymorphone, Hydromorphone (Dilaudid), Hydrocodone, and Oxycodone, along with all the drugs previously mentioned. On top of that, he was tested positive for alcohol.
His death was ruled accidental by the medical examiner. Lil Peep was age 21 at the time of his death. The rapper’s sudden passing triggered a debate about drug addiction among celebrities, particularly young rapper’s who often rap about sipping lean and taking pills.

Big Sean has finally responded to Kendrick Lamar’s diss record “The Heart Part 4.” The G.O.O.D. Music rapper delivered his joint album with Metro Boomin, Double or Nothing, on Friday. The album has received mixed reviews among hip hop fans, but perhaps one of the biggest takeaways on the project is Big Sean jab at Kendrick Lamar. K-Dot unleashed a lyrical firestorm against BS in March of this year where he called him his son and a punk ass.
“”My fans can’t wait for me to son your punk ass and crush your whole lil sh*t, I’ll Big Pun your punk ass you a scared lil b*tch, Tip-toeing around my name n***a you lame,” the Compton rapper raps. At the time of its released, the song surprised a lot of hip hop fans who wasn’t sure who he was referring to. In case your still among those who are still in doubt, now you know for sure that K-Dot went directly after Sean Don ripping him while threatening to take down his career.
On the album, Double or Nothing, Big Sean has a song “Big Bidness” featuring 2 Chainz where he finally responded to Kendrick Lamar. “Nobody sonning me, If am a sun, I’m the one you look up to F**k you,” Sean raps. Sean Don previously took a jab at the “HUMBLE” rapper on DJ Khaled’s single “Holy Key” giving fans a hint of his feelings towards his rival.
Double or Nothing is out now and you can stream it on Apple Music and Spotify. The album features some big names including Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and Swae Lee. While the vast majority of his fans have the project the thumbs up, Big Sean has been getting roasted on Twitter for a few lines that some folks thinks are either unacceptible or corny.

Did the CIA assassinate Bob Marley?
The reggae legend died in May 1981 and his official cause of death is cancer. Since his untimely death, there have been a number of conspiracies surrounding what or whom may have played a role in the ending of his life. One such conspiracy is that the CIA has something to do with his death bu infiltrating his circle in the late 1970s and ultimately did something to end his life in 1981.
This week, a story popped up online claiming that a 79-year-old retired CIA agent name Bill Oxley confessed on his deathbed that he killed the reggae icon. We will not link to the article as to not give it any more attention than this. While on his deathbed at the Mercy Hospital in Maine earlier this week, Oxley made a number of confessions, allegedly, including that he committed some 17 assassinations while working as a CIA agent including the assassinations of one of the greatest musicians of all time.
Oxley claimed that he infiltrated Bob Marley’s inner circle using press credentials to gain access to the singer during his Blue Mountains retreat. He posed as a famous photographer working for the New York Times and told Marley that he has a gift for him. “I gave him a pair of Converse All Stars,” Oxley said. “Size 10. When he tried on the right shoe, he screamed out ‘OUUUCH.‘ That was it. His life was over right there and then. The nail in the shoe was tainted with cancer viruses and bacteria. If it pierced his skin, which it did, it was goodnight nurse.”
The site that published the story is a well known satirical site and they did not provide any sourcing for the lengthy article. Nevertheless, a number of celebrities and reggae fans shared the story on social media not known it’s potentially fake news.
Bob Marley Museum declined to comment on the story, but a close family source told Dancehall HipHop that the Marley family believes that the story is bogus. “No one believes the story and neither do they want this kind of bad publicity so that explains why they are not saying anything about it,” sources told us. “By speaking on it you give the story more life so they decide to just let it go.”

Kendrick Lamar is ending his massive year on a high.
The Compton rapper delivers a version of his chart-topping album DAMN for collectors aka DAMN. Collectors Edition. For this edition, he released the album with the songs in reverse starting with “DUCKWORTH” and ending with “BLOOD. There is already some conspiracy that he is trying to reveal the true meaning behind the album. This is a massive year for Kendrick Lamar who received seven Grammy nominations for the project.
The 14-track album features collaborations with Rihanna on “LOYALTY.,” U2 on “XXX.,” and Zacari on the single “LOVE.” During an interview with MTV in the summer, Kendrick Lamar opened up about why he decided to drop the album in reverse, saying he got the idea from fans. “I think like a week after the album came out, [fans] realized you can play the album backwards,” K-Dot said. “It plays as a full story and even a better rhythm. It’s one of my favorite rhythms and tempos within the album. It’s something that we definitely premeditate while we’re in the studio.”
